Jomtien Beach stretches 6 kilometres, situated around Pattaya which is suitable for those who are interested in sail-surfing and watersport such as kayaking, surfing, swimming, diving and snorkelling. It is one of the most famous beaches in Pattaya that tourists cannot miss. It’s located in the East of the Gulf of Thailand and is about 165 kilometres to the south of Bangkok.

Not only more quiet than Pattaya beach, Jomtien beach also has luxury hotels with restaurants and delicious food. Dong Tan beach is the most popular place in Jomtien beach with many famous resorts such as Rabbit Resort and Avalon Beach Resort.

Jomtien develops rapidly and is known as the place having the tallest buildings. The most famous building here is Ocean 1 with 91 floors, considered as the highest building. Another famous destination is Pattaya Park Tower situated in the park complex with roller coaster, monorail and kids area.

The Jomtien Complex has many restaurants, bars, hotels and resorts and gay. The gay area is concentrated along the Thappraya – one of the major roads connecting Jomtien and Pattaya.

Wong Phrachan

Located in the north of Pattaya, this one-kilometre beach shares the same gate with Central Wong Amat Hotel. If you want to find a quiet place to escape the hustle and bustle of life, this destination is an ideal place because it houses peaceful resorts that are suitable for swimming and relaxing.

Koh Larn Island

Located about 45 minutes by ferry or 15 minutes by speedboat from Pattaya, the island owns many smooth white sand beaches. Unlike the bustling Pattaya, you can immerse yourself in the fresh air of the island when coming to Koh Larn. The sand here is very smooth and the water is so clear that can look deeply into the sea.

You also dive into the ocean to see the colourful coral reefs. If you do not want to dive, you can sit on the bottom glass boat to see coral reefs with many types and shapes gently swinging in the water.

There are smooth sand beaches with shallow water, clear and deserted that is suitable for beginners. The island is not known by many tourists.  You can spend the night on the island.

Phai Island

Located about 14 kilometres to the east of Pattaya, this small island is prominent with a beautiful white sandy beach. It takes about an hour to go from the mainland to the island. Under the management of the Royal Thai Navy, Phai Island is one of the most famous scuba diving spots in Pattaya.
