If you are visiting the Grand Palace or Wat Pho, take the ferry across the river to Wang Lang Pier (N10) and visit Wang Lang Market. It is famous for its excellent Southern Thai food, and the markets on this street offer a variety of tempting street food for you to enjoy.

Isaan Rod Det

Located on Soi Rangnam, a short distance from Victory Monument Villa, this is a small and simple restaurant serving great Isaan food (Northeast Thailand). Do not forget to try grilled chicken; som tam – gai yang and papaya salad.

Baan E-san Muang Yos

This seductive Isaan restaurant is located on Sukhumvit Soi 31. Although it is surrounded by other fine international restaurants, this is still an attractive destination for crowded travelers. Baan E-san Muang Yos serves a variety of Isaan dishes with chicken and pork BBQ.

Somboon Seafood

This is perhaps Bangkok’s most famous seafood chain.Somboon Seafood opened many branches throughout Bangkok. Take a look at Ratchada or Silom to try some of the best seafood in Bangkok especially the famous curry crab.

Note that there are some “Somboon” fake restaurants operating in Bangkok, they work with taxi drivers to trick tourists into eating. Check Somboon Seafood’s website before booking to make sure you have the right address.

Platinum Food Center – Fashion

Platinum Fashion Mall is more famous for its clothing than for food, but the 6th Floor Food Center is a great place to sample Thai street food in a cool space. Like the array of food outlets inside Siam Paragon, here also use the card system, when you need to use, you will swipe cards at each booth.

Pier 21 Restaurant (Terminal 21)

Opened in 2011, Terminal 21 is one of Bangkok’s most unique shopping malls. On the upper floors, you will find a range of restaurants and one of Bangkok’s tempting gastronomy areas with lots of delicious Thai food for 25 baht.

MBK Food Center

Newly renovated recently, the food court of MBK Center is no longer as chaotic as before. You will enjoy many delicious Thai food at very cheap prices here.
