The police office is located behind the immigration office on Pattaya Beach. There are some volunteer travel police officers in Koh Lipe who will be the first to help you in emergencies. They are very friendly and they can speak English. You can easily recognize them because they often wear the black T-shirt travel policeman uniform. Koh Lipe is a small island and most of the people there know each other, so in case you need help, anyone can show you the nearest volunteer travel police.

The hospital

There is a local hospital located next to a shool on Sunrise beach. In this hospital, there is a doctor who can speak English.

It provides basic medical supplies and can support first aid services or transport critical emergency cases to the mainland. (085-454 3814)

You can also find a small clinic next to the Pooh restaurant. The clinician speaks English very well and accepts all types of travel insurance. There is also a large private hospital currently under construction at Walking Street, located about 200 meters from Pattaya Beach and opened in late 2014.
